Technical details of the pump:
Multifunctional dosing pumps with a microprocessor and a liquid crystal display allow for precise dosing.
2.1 - FUNCTIONALITY of the dosing system for drinking water disinfection
The dosage is achieved via a Teflon-coated membrane which is deflected by an electromagnet using a piston rod.
When the piston rod is moved by the electromagnet, pressure builds up in the pump head, and metering fluid is displaced through the upper pressure valve. The suction stroke is achieved by a spring that pushes the magnet back to its starting position, creating a vacuum in the pump head, and metering fluid flows in through the lower suction valve.
Due to its simple operating principle, the pump requires no lubrication, making maintenance almost unnecessary. The materials used make the pump partially resistant to aggressive liquids. The pump is designed for pumping liquids up to a maximum flow rate of 0–20 l/h and pressures of 0–15 bar (depending on the selected model).
