Stable hygiene, stable disinfection
Barn hygiene and disinfection – Inadequate or insufficient hygiene promotes the spread of diseases and epidemics. Animal health problems, in turn, endanger the herd. On farms, significant losses and the associated yield reductions can quickly threaten the livelihood. Therefore, measures to combat germs are crucial to ensure the animals remain healthy and productive. Barn hygiene also plays a vital role in hobby breeding. Infections can easily take hold there as soon as hygiene is neglected. This is where barn disinfectant comes in.
Areas of application
- both stable hygiene for horses
- as well as stable hygiene for sheep
- as well as stable hygiene for chickens

- on the other hand, decontamination for drinking and process water
- Dust control in the stable
- Disinfectant for barns to remove mold from roughage (hay, grass) and bedding (straw)
- finally, for odor removal
Applications for stable hygiene: stable disinfection
You can choose between two approaches:
1.) Use of a fogging unit for stable hygiene and disinfection
The fine nozzle of the cold fogging device releases tiny droplets of disinfectant. The aerosol mixes with the room air and helps reduce germs. Airborne particles remain suspended for a considerable time before settling and continuing their disinfecting effect on surfaces. Due to the extremely low moisture content, no condensation residue forms on surfaces. While the atomized droplets are still in the air, any dust particles present attach to them. These dust particles then move towards the floor along with the aerosols. The cold fogging device operates fully automatically. It requires neither operation nor monitoring during use.
2.) Use with pressure sprayer / garden sprayer / backpack sprayer
Alternatively, AnoKath® Stallhygiene can be applied using a pressure sprayer. In this method, the disinfectant escapes from the container at the tip of the spray lance. The spray is then manually distributed throughout the barn.
It has a virucidal (EN14476) bactericidal, (EN1040) fungicidal (EN1275) effect.
Use AnoKath with care. Always read the label and product information before use.
You can dilute AnoKath® Stallhygiene 1:10 with distilled water, with the same effect.
