🐴 Hibiscus flowers for horses – Natural supplement to daily feeding
Hibiscus flowers as a natural animal feed:
Hibiscus flowers are valued in horse feed for their pleasantly tart taste and their content of natural plant compounds. They contain organic acids, flavonoids, and antioxidants and are traditionally used when horses are under increased stress – for example, during shedding, after periods of stress, or during training.
The gently dried, whole blossoms can naturally supplement the daily feed ration and provide a tasty change. Hibiscus blossoms are also particularly popular as an addition to mash or in combination with rosehips.
