🐎 Natural balance for your horse

Support your acid-base balance – completely without chemicals

Modern husbandry conditions, stress, concentrated feed, and environmental pollution can quickly throw your horse's metabolism out of balance. The result: acidosis, decreased performance, tension, or susceptibility to illness.

Anokath Liquid helps your horse regain its natural balance – gently, effectively and completely without artificial additives.

Acid-base balance for horses, dogs and cats.

Acid-Base Balance in Horses - Enthusiastic horse owners know how wonderfully easy life feels in the saddle. Brilliance, beauty, and strength are words every horse lover associates with a healthy animal. Ideally, rider and horse form a harmonious unit. But this state is only possible if the animal is truly healthy and therefore has a balanced acid-base level.

This is where balancing the acid-base balance comes in.

Acidosis is often underestimated. An imbalanced acid-base balance frequently restricts metabolic processes. AnoKath® Liquid also helps to restore a stable acid-base balance.

Why does the body's internal environment become unbalanced?

The equine organism is a complex system that is therefore highly sensitive to disturbances. Factors that can adversely affect the body's internal environment include:

Pesticides and herbicides in animal feed
Environmental toxins
stress
Medications
unfavorable husbandry conditions
too little exercise and movement
Overload

Not all detrimental factors can be completely eliminated. This makes feeding a balanced and healthy environment all the more important in order to strengthen the immune system. If the horse's body is equipped with sufficient defenses, it will no longer react hypersensitively to negative external influences.

to get started

To begin treatment or after a prolonged break, the feeding regimen starts with daily doses of AnoKath® Liquid to strengthen the horse's system and promote a balanced acid-base equilibrium. Generally, 90 days are needed for harmful substances to leave the body. Only after this period is a recovered equine organism able to absorb and fully utilize valuable vitamins, minerals, and trace elements. A regenerated horse shows more interest, generally appears more vital, and its coat has a silky sheen. Depending on the horse's condition, the recovery phase can be extended accordingly.

Maintenance phase

Once the horse's health has significantly improved, it is important to maintain this good condition long-term. Maintenance feeding, which directly follows the initial recovery phase, is limited to three weekly doses. This reduced dose of AnoKath® Liquid provides the horse with effective support, enabling it to develop its self-healing abilities and protect itself from adverse effects caused by unsuitable conditions.

Stress phase

Whenever a horse is subjected to a previously known, exceptional strain, a stress-prevention feeding regimen is recommended. This provides the horse with perfect preventative care to help it cope with temporary overexertion without harm. Typical stress-inducing circumstances include: changes of stable, as well as deworming, antibiotic treatment, shedding, and more. The daily stress-prevention feeding regimen should begin 5 days before the demanding event and continue for another 5 days. During shedding, a 5-week course is recommended.

Use AnoKath® Liquid Acid Base Balance for horses:

Enrich the dry food with AnoKath® Liquid.
Recommended daily dose: 0.2 ml per kilogram of the horse's body weight.
AnoKath® Liquid achieves the best effect when the daily dose is divided into two feedings.
To give an example:
The horse weighs 600 kg x 0.2 ml = 120 ml daily dose of AnoKath® Liquid.

Environmental feeding with AnoKath® Liquid

Composition: electrolytically activated saline solution; laboratory water; sodium chloride 6-9 g/L, amino acids

ADMR compliant - Not a doping agent

The pH value indicates whether a solution is alkaline (pH 7.1-14), neutral (pH 7), or acidic (pH 1-6.9). In healthy animals, blood, lymph, connective tissue, and a large part of the small intestine are alkaline. The stomach, large intestine, and vagina have a slightly acidic environment.

In small animals, the pH value of the urine can be determined. To do this, hold a pH test strip in the fresh urine and after 20 seconds compare the result with the enclosed color chart. In dogs and cats, the healthy urine pH value is 6.5. For horses, place a fresh manure pellet with an equal amount of distilled water in a sterilized glass jar with a lid, seal and shake, immerse a pH test strip after one minute and compare the result after 20 seconds. In horses, the healthy pH value in a fecal sample is 6.5.

Composition: Table salt (sodium chloride) 6 to 9 g/L

Frequently Asked Questions

1: What exactly is AnoKath?

AnoKath® stands for electroactivated liquids for disinfection, hygiene, and odor reduction. The products are generally based on a salt and water solution that is "activated" through a special electrochemical process. This creates a highly germ-reducing yet very gentle approach – without the classic "chemical sledgehammer" containing alcohol, aldehydes, or quaternary ammonium compounds.

2: Against which germs is AnoKath effective?

Depending on the product, AnoKath® solutions are effective against bacteria, viruses, fungi, spores, and often biofilms. They are used to reduce germs on skin, surfaces, in water, in the air, or in animal and stable areas. Please always refer to the respective label and product data sheet for the specific spectrum of activity covered.

3: Is AnoKath safe for people, animals and the environment?

AnoKath® products are generally alcohol-free, pH-neutral, or formulated to be gentle on the skin, and are non-flammable. They contain no fragrances or dyes and are predominantly 100% biodegradable. Therefore, they are also suitable for sensitive user groups and daily use – always following the instructions on the label. However, for medical questions regarding specific conditions, a doctor or veterinarian should always be consulted.

4: Do AnoKath products contain alcohol or other aggressive chemicals?

All AnoKath® products are free of alcohol, aldehydes, and quaternary ammonium compounds. They rely on the effect of electroactivated active ingredients and deliberately avoid classic, potentially irritating ingredients. Details about the ingredients can be found in the respective product description and safety data sheet.

5: Does AnoKath attack materials, surfaces or textiles?

AnoKath® products are generally gentle on materials and can be used on many plastics, metals, textiles, leather, and seals. They leave no sticky film and, when applied as a mist, do not cause condensation on windows. However, for sensitive materials or high-quality surfaces, we recommend testing the application beforehand in an inconspicuous area and following the respective product instructions.

6: In which areas can AnoKath be used?

AnoKath® covers several areas of application: human medicine and care, animal health, stable and farm hygiene, room and vehicle disinfection, water treatment, and specialized applications (e.g., hay, koi, hoof and skin care). Whether a product is intended for skin, animals, surfaces, air, or water can be identified by the product name and application description in the shop.

7: What is the difference between concentrate and ready-to-use products?

Concentrates such as stable or hay products are diluted with water (ideally demineralized water) before application. This allows for cost-effective treatment of larger areas or quantities. Ready-to-use products are packaged directly and do not require mixing. The exact mixing ratio for concentrates can always be found on the label or product data sheet.

8: Can I combine AnoKath with other cleaners or disinfectants?

We recommend not mixing AnoKath® directly with other chemicals, cleaners, or disinfectants. Chemical mixtures can affect its effectiveness or produce undesirable reaction products. In practice, it has proven effective to clean first, then disinfect with AnoKath® – or to clearly separate the surfaces between the products.

9: Do I need special protective clothing when using this product?

For normal use according to instructions, special protective clothing such as respiratory protection or chemical suits is generally not required. However, standard hygiene rules (gloves for professional use, safety goggles when fogging overhead, etc.) are still advisable. For large-scale fogging or commercial applications, the respective occupational safety regulations of the company and the information in the safety data sheet apply.

10: How long does AnoKath last and how should I store it?

AnoKath® should always be stored in a cool, dark place, tightly sealed. Shelf life varies depending on the product and is indicated on the label by a best-before or use-by date. Once opened, we recommend using the product promptly and not leaving it open unnecessarily long to ensure quality and effectiveness.
