Disinfect the room with AnoKath Air-Clean 1 liter

AnoKath Air-Clean room disinfection – In challenging times, special precautions are necessary. The global spread of a particular situation has also taught us how important it is to deal with germs responsibly. Protection against infection has taken on unprecedented importance, and consequently, the disinfection of indoor spaces has moved more sharply into our awareness. The transmission of pathogens, which occurs primarily through aerosols, can take place both in the air and on surfaces. When infected individuals breathe, speak, cough, or sneeze, contaminated particles are released. These viruses can be absorbed by other people through the mucous membranes of the mouth, nose, and eyes. Therefore, there is a particularly high risk of infection in enclosed spaces. When rooms are shared, disinfection is a necessary measure to prevent transmission. With AnoKath Air-Clean room disinfection, the disinfection of indoor spaces (including air conditioning systems) can be carried out in an environmentally friendly and highly effective manner.

Risks of ozone during room disinfection

Room disinfection is usually carried out with ozone. Because ozone irritates the respiratory tract, a waiting period of at least 24 hours is required after treatment before re-entering the room. The gas typically dissipates within this time. However, a lingering haze with a chlorine odor is usually still noticeable. Pulmonologists warn against ozone air purifiers, especially since their use in conjunction with the off-gassing of plasticizers, paints, and adhesives creates harmful compounds. A scratchy throat is also considered a typical symptom after inhaling this mixture. In extreme cases, ozone can lead to lung damage. Plastics , rubber, as well as leather and metals, are also sensitive to ozone. Frequent disinfection of rooms, as was appropriate during the COVID-19 pandemic, puts a significant strain on these materials.

Frequently Asked Questions

1: What exactly is AnoKath?

AnoKath® stands for electroactivated liquids for disinfection, hygiene, and odor reduction. The products are generally based on a salt and water solution that is "activated" through a special electrochemical process. This creates a highly germ-reducing yet very gentle approach – without the classic "chemical sledgehammer" containing alcohol, aldehydes, or quaternary ammonium compounds.

2: Against which germs is AnoKath effective?

Depending on the product, AnoKath® solutions are effective against bacteria, viruses, fungi, spores, and often biofilms. They are used to reduce germs on skin, surfaces, in water, in the air, or in animal and stable areas. Please always refer to the respective label and product data sheet for the specific spectrum of activity covered.

3: Is AnoKath safe for people, animals and the environment?

AnoKath® products are generally alcohol-free, pH-neutral, or formulated to be gentle on the skin, and are non-flammable. They contain no fragrances or dyes and are predominantly 100% biodegradable. Therefore, they are also suitable for sensitive user groups and daily use – always following the instructions on the label. However, for medical questions regarding specific conditions, a doctor or veterinarian should always be consulted.

4: Do AnoKath products contain alcohol or other aggressive chemicals?

All AnoKath® products are free of alcohol, aldehydes, and quaternary ammonium compounds. They rely on the effect of electroactivated active ingredients and deliberately avoid classic, potentially irritating ingredients. Details about the ingredients can be found in the respective product description and safety data sheet.

5: Does AnoKath attack materials, surfaces or textiles?

AnoKath® products are generally gentle on materials and can be used on many plastics, metals, textiles, leather, and seals. They leave no sticky film and, when applied as a mist, do not cause condensation on windows. However, for sensitive materials or high-quality surfaces, we recommend testing the application beforehand in an inconspicuous area and following the respective product instructions.

6: In which areas can AnoKath be used?

AnoKath® covers several areas of application: human medicine and care, animal health, stable and farm hygiene, room and vehicle disinfection, water treatment, and specialized applications (e.g., hay, koi, hoof and skin care). Whether a product is intended for skin, animals, surfaces, air, or water can be identified by the product name and application description in the shop.

7: What is the difference between concentrate and ready-to-use products?

Concentrates such as stable or hay products are diluted with water (ideally demineralized water) before application. This allows for cost-effective treatment of larger areas or quantities. Ready-to-use products are packaged directly and do not require mixing. The exact mixing ratio for concentrates can always be found on the label or product data sheet.

8: Can I combine AnoKath with other cleaners or disinfectants?

We recommend not mixing AnoKath® directly with other chemicals, cleaners, or disinfectants. Chemical mixtures can affect its effectiveness or produce undesirable reaction products. In practice, it has proven effective to clean first, then disinfect with AnoKath® – or to clearly separate the surfaces between the products.

9: Do I need special protective clothing when using this product?

For normal use according to instructions, special protective clothing such as respiratory protection or chemical suits is generally not required. However, standard hygiene rules (gloves for professional use, safety goggles when fogging overhead, etc.) are still advisable. For large-scale fogging or commercial applications, the respective occupational safety regulations of the company and the information in the safety data sheet apply.

10: How long does AnoKath last and how should I store it?

AnoKath® should always be stored in a cool, dark place, tightly sealed. Shelf life varies depending on the product and is indicated on the label by a best-before or use-by date. Once opened, we recommend using the product promptly and not leaving it open unnecessarily long to ensure quality and effectiveness.
